Why Do I Need To Acknowledge Funders?
As a condition of your Arts Operating Support or Arts Project Support grant, you are required to credit the funding support you receive. This is done by the display of the logo promotional materials related to your funded project.
The Tippecanoe Arts Federation also receives dollars from both state and national government agencies, such as the Indiana Arts Commission and National Endowment for the Arts. Therefore, every time you credit your funding sources, you are thanking both donors and individual taxpayers, as well as your local, state, and national political leaders for their support of the arts!
How to Acknowledge Your Funders
For this grant program, you MUST acknowledge your funders in one of two ways:
- Include the logos of the Indiana Arts Commission, Tippecanoe Arts Federation, and National Endowment for the Arts on all promotional materials.
- If design or space limitations prevent the usage of logos, please include the following written acknowledgment:
This project is made possible by the Indiana Arts Commission, the Tippecanoe Arts Federation, and the National Endowment for the Arts, a federal agency.
A third way of recognizing your supporters is through verbal acknowledgment during events or television, radio, or internet broadcasts. This is highly suggested!
