What is the Cultural Passport?
A brainchild of the Cultural Plan Education Committee, the Cultural Passport program concept is designed to meet the following Cultural Plan education goals: To “Engage children, teens, and young adults more fully in the cultural life of the Lafayette/West Lafayette community,” and; “Build a broader and deeper county-wide audience for arts and culture of all kinds.”
In this program, each participant receives a “Cultural Passport” (folded/stapled booklet) and an Activities and Events sheet to find out what Cultural Passport activities are available and where. For each activity they participate in, they receive a stamp. The more stamps the participant earns, the greater the prize they receive.
