Nature Inspired Basketry & Brooms

Mother Nature provides inspiration, materials, and a state of well-being and peace. Working in tandem with nature’s bounty and myself, one of a kind artful pieces come to life. The end results are enlightening and surprising.

Bev Larson has been making baskets since 1988 and making artful brooms since 2009. She has been teaching throughout the United States and the Caribbean. She loves to share the joy of basket weaving with others. Bev has won awards for her work including the Eiteljorg Museum’s Weaver’s Challenge and has been named an Indiana Artisan by the state.

In this club, we have the opportunity to expand our knowledge of different cultures. Activities include regular meetings, dining, museum tours, community service, movies, and lots of fun.
