The Tippecanoe County Public Art Team, which manages the affairs of Tippecanoe County’s public art program, is currently seeking a qualified artist or team of artists working collaboratively to create a piece of public art at the 2nd Street Parking Garage, 215 Columbia Street, in downtown Lafayette.
The 2nd Street Parking Garage is a six level concrete structure. It is a frequently utilized building and is filled to capacity throughout the work week. There are two mural locations on the sixth, top, level. Artists may submit for one or both project sites; stipends of $1250 are available for each.
The design must be suitable and acceptable for public display for viewing by citizens of all ages. The project is to be completed by September 2, 2016. |
